After talking to -V- ... he encouraged me to post this.

I've gone through a lot this past year or so. I've been in a lot of pain. I lost both of my parents. At the same time I had to bury my best friend. It's been a trip.

A friend sent me a book a couple of years ago called "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. I read it. Thought is was cool. And that was nice. It wasn't until I went through hell that I paid attention and revisited his book. I got his CD's on eBaY and then BAM! The message really hit me and I put it into practice. It's profound. My life has been changed forever. Life has become extremely beautiful and so much more peaceful. And things are happening I never thought possible.

Here's the secret to life ... to peace ... to joy ... to obtaining everything you are and expect to be. There is only the present moment. Now. Always. There is no such thing as the future. There is no such thing as the past. They are mental precepts; tools we use. There is ONLY the present moment. And the present moment is the power, the contact to the Source, the portal for everything possible. This isn't meditation, but a simple practice for anyone who is ready for the new consciousness that will impact the planet.

Are you looking for higher awareness, peace and continual joy? Research Eckhart Tolle.

Yes, Jane. I've known that for many years now, since about 1994 when I first learned Transcendental Meditation and awakened, the practice of which makes slipping into the now, all there is, first nature. http://www.tm.org/ :sunny:

Thanks Jennifer. I appreciate the post. I have also done TM. But, for me ... this is profoundly different. It has nothing to do with meditation. I urge you to check out Eckhart Tolle. :sunny:

Thank you, Jane. As a practitioner, the program below appeals to me. I'm wondering what your thoughts are about it?

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the link. I've never heard of the Fairy Congress, but it looks very interesting and even fun. I have never had the experience of communing with fairies (no jokes please -V-, Lion, haus or Mr. A), but my mind is wide open.

This is only my perception, but I would imagine that increased 'presence' could only help in the communion of humans and faeries.

Eckhart Tolle isn't the only enlightened being who has walked or is walking the earth. There are many. But as we all know, they are few and far between if we look at the present state of the world.

I've always had a great curiosity for life and I've been interested in everything ... whether it be politics, arts, spiriituality, religion, science ... but at the core of my search I was always looking for the bigger picture and how I fit into it. I saw the pain and dehumanization around me and in me and sometimes it would get so big, so overwhelming that despite all my 'spiritual' learning, meditation and study, when the sh*t really hit the fan in my life, I began to believe in almost nothing - no God and I certainly didn't believe in myself.

From that very small, scared, tortured place I found me. Again. It is nearly impossible to use 'thoughts' here to describe my glimpses into the bigger picture of (brace yourself for corniness) peace and understanding ... the primordial energy Source, but I've seen it. (And this is without drugs or alcohol folks.) And it is fear free and beautiful and it's attainable through bypassing the ever-thinking, ever-judging mind and the constructs of 'time' and just being in moment. Sounds easy? It is easy. But it's everything that has not happened on earth for thousands of years. When a few enlightened beings essentially all say the same thing ... like Buddah did 2,600 years ago ... and Christ did 2,000 years ago ... human beings intellectualize it, institutionalize it, pervert the teachings and go to war.

Listen, I'm a tadpole in a big sea. And my ability to stay present and have presence is a tadpole presence. I'm just excited to have found something amazing and want to share it, if anybody's interested. :sunny:

And -V- ... you're a naturally VERY wise soul. I don't have the ability to communicate how important this is on the forum. If you get the Eckhart Tolle's CD's on EbaY ... cheaper than going out to lunch ... you'll see if it makes sense to you. The Power of Now, The New Earth, The Realization of Being, The Sun Also Dies ... whoa ... I just checked and some things are cheaper at the website: http://www.eckharttolle.com/store/

OK, J. as per your request, I'm not going to mention the ***** Congress or any other derogative labels the rightwing may have for the new Democratic control of the House & Senate ;)

Which of the Troll's items would be a better choice:

1. Stillness Amidst the World + 2 dvds + Simple Truth dvd
or
2. The Power of Now + A New Earth

The first option seems to have more to offer for a newbie like me, unless it's padded with fluff and the meat is in the two books.

I will explore Eckhart Tolle. I'm sure he's wonderful, so I'm really looking forward to doing that!

It's a small world, -V-. I talked at length with Michael Tamura at the Shalimar Conference at the College in Weed in Mount Shasta last year. He was a presenter there along with many other people like himself. David Icke's work was the featured lecture, and he lectured for about 10 hours. Michael Tamura is a very sweet, heart centered man and a joy to be with. -V-, you would have loved being there. Extraodinary!

Mount Shasta is a great choice for a place to live. It's on my retirement list as there are a wealth of people like Michael Tamura who live there.

that is terrific Jen! I had a 30 minute reading with a spiritualist a few years ago for the first time and was impressed so I asked her what I could read to learn more. She recommended Tamura's book because of his ties with the Berkley school where she learned her craft.

I've just started Tolle's "Power of Now". I'll report back here.

Hello my POL spiritual buddies! :sunny:

-V- ... I will get Tamura's book. Thanks for the tip. Did you get "The Power of Now" in book or the DVD?

Jennifer - after meeting Michael Tamura - did you read his books? Also, I've read a lot of Icke and watched him go through different phases. I must say I like his present approach using love the best. What were your personal impressions of David Icke?

Thanks

Hi, Jane. I have not yet read any of Michael Tamura's books. We talked for about an hour. I asked him about his spiritual gifts, when did he first realized he had them? Since early childhood. What does he see? Auras in color. How did he learn what they meant? (Going about daily life, Micheal can see in a person's aura that they will soon die.) Intuitively, and later, with study. Were his parents supportive? They were, and they encouraged him. I see auras too, but not in color. He thought seeing auras in color is able to be learned and suggested the Berkeley Psychic Institute as place to go to learn how. He is able to not only read auras, but to inflence them for emotional and physical healing and wellbeing. Michael Tamura is sweet, loving and kind has the childlike qualities of fun, joy, exploration and interest in people. He's a very positive, happy, and good person.

David Icke is open, kind, friendly, serious, introspective, analytical and mentally sharp. He brings questions deeply into himself before he answers them. David discussed with me his being spiritually led all along the way and with spiritual guides who influence his life, explorations and work. He has a quality of humility about him. David Icke is not wealthy. He has severe arthritis in his hands and can only type with a few fingers. He spends huge numbers of hours typing. He has typed all of his books that way in alot of physical pain. The pain he has in his body shows in his face and expressions. His strenth, determination, care and concern for people are evident. David is married and has children. He and his wife live in a small apartment. The Bridge of Love publishing company in the U.S. attempted to literally steal the rights to all of Davids books, past and present and absconded with royalties that should have gone to David. He won his case in court and says things are better now than ever. Considering the way his case turned out, David said he would not have changed anything, but that it took a toll on him as he didn't have legal rights to his materials pending the legal outcome. David says he is doing what he came to Earth to do, that his work with his loving and supportive wife is his spiritual purpose here. David's wife doesn't like to travel, so he does his work traveling without her. He misses her not being there with him when he's on the road. I really like David.

The Berkeley Psychic Institute is where the woman I spoke to studied. She reads auras/chakras and I was tempted to sign up for her class.

That's why I'm reading these books now (books, Jane). I already understand most of the concepts but am more in need of applying them now, so I got the Power of Now workbook as well.

From your descriptions Jen, it would appear that perhaps Tamura has had better success applying what he preaches. "the childlike qualities of fun, joy, exploration" are strongly emphasized in his book.

Hi, Jane and -V-. It is not a coicidence that we come together on spiritual and other levels. -V-, your vision and your creative intention brought the space and place into being for it to happen. Now, how neat is that?! (Jane, you have groovy. I'll adopt neat. Hahahahaha.)

I love and honor being with good people, sharing experiences that are gifts of the One true(Great) Spirit here on Earth.

This thread is about secrets, so I'll share with you too. When the weather is nice, I go out in nature. The following are some experiences I had in Nature:

During a summer, I went on a Transcendental Meditation retreat for a week at a ranch located midway between Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen. I saw the majesty of both mountains clearly from that location. One very hot day when the daytime temperature was about 100 degrees, while I was standing there, a wild Canada Goose flew in and waddled under a high deck. I went around to see the bird and found it panting, so I got out the garden hose, turned on a very fine misty spray and put the hose through a step high up. Then I got a bucket, filled it with water and brought it to the goose still panting under the deck. Toward late afternoon, I went back to check on the goose and saw it sipping a little of the water I had brought it. I stayed with the goose for a short while, then slowly began walking down a slightly inclined path by the house. The goose followed after me. I stopped at a log and slowly sat down on the grass that was on the left side of the log. The goose waddled over to the right side of the log and sat down. There were not more than 12 inches between us. I began doing Reike healing with the goose working perhaps 2 inches around its' head and body, but never physically touching it. Shorty, while I was working, the goose's eyes got drowsy, and intermittantly, it would close them and momentarily open them. I worked with the goose that way for about 45 minutes. When I finished, I sat there with the goose until it came back around to full awareness. Slowly I stood up. Then the goose stood up. I began backing away, turned and slowly began walking back up the inclined path and with the goose following me. I knew where there was some new, green grass that was able to grow by the shade it had been afforded by the second house on the property, so, I led the goose to the very spot. I sat on a barrel and watched as the goose ate succulent grass that was there. After a while, I got up from the barrel, and, to test the goose's trust, I crawled through a window like opening located under the house, the sill of which was a foot or so up from the ground level. I turned this way and that until I was comfortable and sitting looking out toward the crawl space. Indeed, the goose was trying to come in to be with me. Eventually it got itself up and over the sill, then, waddled over to end up standing slightly behind me and to my left. The goose preened and preened and preened itself and, shortly wound up putting its' head on its' back to rest. After about 20 minutes, I crawled out of the crawl space, the goose following close behind me. By that time, it was late afternoon getting toward sunset. I walked back to the 1ST house where I was staying, the one with the porch that the Canada Goose stayed under when it first arrived, and walked up the stairs to the double french door entry with the goose following behind. I got on the bed as if to rest while the goose lay down on the rug right next to my bed. That night, with the french doors wide open onto the deck, the goose slept in that very place as a bat flew in circling around and around the room diving through my aura over and over and over again.

While I was walking along a trail at Audubon Canyon Ranch located near Stinson Beach in West Marin one afternoon, a faun that I had not seen got up from its' bed and came right to me, and again and again it nudged its' head against my hand. Just a baby, I was concerned that its' mother would not care for it if she smelled my human scent. I walked a little ways in toward its' hidden bed of fallen log and rock encompassed grass, the faun following me close behind, but no sooner would I turn to leave, it followed right after me again, nuzzling its' head against my hand. I kept going back until that adorable, white spotted baby deer finally returned to the sanctuary from which it had first arisen.

Continued:

During a late spring out past Inverness in West Marin, I was walking on a very narrow trail one afternoon to find the herd of 600 elk, Tule Elk, that are there. I turned to look back down the trail, and not far back, I saw a mother skunk with her babies walking on the trail toward me. I staddled my feet, one on each side of the trail, to see how close they'd come. Without skipping a beat, they came right up. Mother skunk sniffed around my right shoe and, not finding that intriguing, she went on ahead. In turn, each of her babies did the same. I caught up with the herd of Tule Elk out in the field during that mating season by intermittantly sitting down to watch them before going on. Slowly I got within about 100 feet of them, and, at that distance, I sat down and watched as they grazed, males challenged each other, they choose and stole mates and territories and herd lookouts took their turns rotating from lookout to grazing and from grazing to lookout.

One year in the early Spring at Audubon Canyon Ranch on a day before the ranch was open to the public, I stood outside the closed, heavy metal gate taking in the nesting Great Egrets and Great Blue Herrons there when, out of a nearby tree, a Great Horned Owl flew down and landed directly in front of me on the pavement on the other side of the gate from me. There, we regarded each other for a good five minutes. While I watched, it preened, turn its' head an amazing 260 degrees and, at a point, held its' huge, golden eyed gaze on me. As suddenly as it had flown down to stand before me, it flew back up into that same tree from which it flown. I climbed over the gate and walked to the tree where it was, but as soon as I got there, it flew to another tree where it waited until I reached it before flying on again to the next and the next and the next. Getting far afield and concerned about rattlesnakes because of the warm, rocky terrain, I went back, but wondered since if that Great Horned Owl had been leading me to something it had wanted me to see.

When I am in West Marin, I enjoy going to Kule Loklo, a California coastal native American Indian village reconstruction. Next to the Marin nature center that is on the same property as Kule Loklo, there is a ranch with a few horses that range freely within their many acred fenced area. Close to the fence that separates the nature center from the ranch, a horse was lying on its' side. Thinking there might be something wrong, I crawled on my hands and knees over to the horse. Once I reached it, I looked closely at it from head to tale and saw nothing of concern, then began feeling along its' body for broken bones. Finding nothing out of the ordinary, I asked a friend who had come with me to get the bucket I carry in the trunk of my car, to fill it with water and to put it at the fence line. Not wanting to stand above the horse possibly freightening it, I crawled back over, got the water bucket and brought it back to the horse for the horse to drink. Well, that horse stood up, took that bucket of water in its' teeth and swung the water in the bucket out at me over and over again until no more water would come out of the bucket. Satisfied the water was all gone, that horse brought me the bucket rubbing it against my side before setting it down in front of me. It was clear the horse was having fun playing throw the water, so we did it all over again as people visiting the center looked on. One young woman exclaimed loudly, "That's awesome!," and she truly meant it. I thought the very same!

At Bolinas in West Marin, I walked a trail out into a clearing where I heard very loud rustling in the brush. Whatever it was sounded BIG, so I stopped very still, and in awe, I watched amazed as a full grown Mountain Lion emerged. When it saw me, it tensed and moved its' body sideways in preparation for running away from me. In the realization that I was not a threat, it relaxed, proceeded to bathe itself like cats do, then slowly walked across my path, out around me to my left, and headed back in the direction from which I had come. On my way there, I had passed two full grown deer and a faun grazing. I figured that for a late Mountain Lion lunch.

In Walnut Creek, I saw a Bob Cat hunting at the edge of a stream, a truly wonderous site. But, further down the trail while talking with a friend, I spontaneously jumped finding myself inexplicably many feet from where I had been. Looking back to where I once stood, I saw a very young rattlesnake that I might otherwise have stepped on, or, if not, may have provoked to stike me out of its' sense of self preservation. I watched for quite some time until the rattlesnake unfurled, then slowly proceeded on its' way across the trail to the rocky swale that lay just on the other side.

Jen, when you go on these retreats do you happen to nibble on any of the wild mushrooms you find?

Just ribbing ya a little. Your stories are delightful. The first reminds me of the butterfly that hung out with Dr. Wayne Dyer for several hours.

I'll share a secret. I actually believe that Sonya Fitzpatrick (the Pet Psychic) can communicate with the animals on some level.

On the last day before leaving the ranch that was between Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen, I walked to the very top of Mount Lassen. The trail up was very steep and the air temperature was quite warm, so I frequently stopped to rest and then thought how much I wanted to give thanks to God for the wonderous beauty and majesty that I had been and was still experiencing in that place. After about 6 hours, I reached the summit. Snow was still on the mountain top. I dug down and got some to melt, then drink. From that vantage point, I felt the rocks, saw the many different plants that abound there and the immense distances. Finished, I began back down the mountain, but had forgotten to say my thanks to God. I went back up just to do that. Standing on the very top of Mount Lassen, I closed my eyes and said thank you to God for all the wonders of this beautiful world and said how sad I was that people were abusing God's magnificent creation, God's and our Earth. My third eye activated and magenta waves of light began pulsating outward. I heard in my mind and felt in my heart God's joy and appreciation at hearing me. It was some time after that experience that I came to be able to have two way plant communications.

The first time it happened was when my friend who died of cancer took a plant communication class and was given a plant to try to communicate with as a homework assignment. I went over to his house, and he had the plant in a vase on his breakfast bar. He said to me that he had been trying for a long time to communicate with that plant but that he had gotten nothing, then, asked me to sit down and try it. I did and within about 15 minutes, I was doing it, telling him what the plant was saying which was a whole lot, and in major detail. While I talked, he wrote it all down. When he went to his next class meeting and said in his class all I had told him, the instructor, my friend told me, was totally blown away. He said her comment to the class was that the person who did that was VERY spiritual. What I did was give thanks to God in a loving heartfelt way on the top of Mount Lassen after a week of daily multiple Transcendental Meditation practices.

More of my secret life and where I live in my heart and soul is represented beautifully in the free videos I found on YouTube below. Though they are not exactly or fully representational of my personal experiences, they are close. The second link shows pictures that were drawn by, I presume, experiencers of real humanoid "Elohim" alien beings with whom they have, or have had contact. The third link shows what space faring aliens see and experience out there, away from our world - AWESOME!

Excerpt from Ashtar Teleconference 1-24-2006

Ashtar: "Well my dear lady, we were discussing those who give up
their human bodies, as moving along to the places that you have such
lovely names for, such as Nirvana and Heaven. They are those who do
not want to go through the Ascension process. They are without any
kind of a physical body. And this is their choice.

"And they have missions, and they will, all of them, at some time,
well really there's no time that we're speaking of, but what we're
talking about is making these transitions, and leaving those human
bodies behind them, because they do not care to go through the
Ascension process.

"Now those are the souls that are leaving the bodies, and they're
going to the places you call Heaven and Nirvana and so on. Those who
choose to keep their bodies with them, even though they are going to
undergo splendifferous changes, are those who will be participants in
what we call the Ascension. And that is quite different, because you
see the bodies will go with them, in different forms. You will be
literally ascending into Light body status.

"Why do that? Well to assist the entire planet in the process of
moving up into higher dimensions of being. You see, nothing can exist
in those higher dimensions except Love, and that is the purpose of
ascension, it is to return to Love. It is to return to a state of
being that is blissful and connected, where the wisdom is apparent to
all, where the knowledge is awakened within each one, where there are
new experiences to enjoy. Some will say the world has become a kind
and compassionate place, where everyone is valued, where everyone is
Light, where there is harmony and joy. And there are some fun times,
too; like you will be instantly able to manifest whatever it is that
you choose to manifest, whether it's an apple, or a little time on the
sandy beaches, or whatever it is that you desire to do, and you're
taking your Light body with you!

"Now there are other technical explanations of this, but it is simply
that everyone has the choice, and there are a great number who are
choosing not to experience the process, but simply just going back to
their spirit selves, where they can immediately embark upon another
earth mission where they can undergo Ascension. Some are going to do
so, and they will continue in the mission that they are currently on,
which is to facilitate Ascension for the entire planet, and to then
teach, and heal, and perform service as the planet goes through this
process."

During the summer of 1992, I spent time with Dr. John Mack here in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the interviewer of the children in Africa who appear in the video below. Dr. Mack was a graduate of Havard Medical School specializing in psychiatry after which he became, and was still, during the time I knew him, Chief of Staff of Psychiatry at The Cambridge Hospital associated with Havard Medical School. In fact, he was the founder of the psychiatric department at The Cambridge Hospital. Dr. Mack maintained a professorship in medicine at Harvard Medical School. Harvard Medical School appointed a special faculty committee to review Dr. Mack's clinical care and clinical investigation of "experiencers." After a gueling 15-month process that involved defending himself with the help of attorneys, the accademic committee who was investigating Dr. John Mack declined to take any action against him on the basis of accademic freedom.

John Mack was to me one of the kindest, most mentally astute people I ever met. I will never forget him, and we who knew him, do miss him greatly!
