Every evil you can think of that exists in our world is in some human being's heart. That's why, according to traditional Christians, people are sinners and some people need to be saved real bad (Take a real good look into the hearts of the Christian Right) while other people need saving not so much, or not at all, though, spiritual protection is another matter altogether.
