I use to be a Democrat. No more. We have a dirty, rotten, no good Democratic Congress that is no different than their bedfellows, the dirty, rotten, no good Republicans. They gave Bush 100 MILLION MORE DOLLARS TO EXPAND THE WAR in Iraq. Our soldiers keep dying for ...?
This is not a noble war. This was never a noble war. And hundreds of thousands of people are dead for no f**king reason what-so-ever.
We are now no different than the old Soviet Union. Like them, we have a one party system. The Dirty Rotten No Good Party.
(PS ~ This does not apply, of course, to the true Democrats here at POL. Just our Dirty, Rotten, No Good Congress.)
Thanks Jane of Arc,
You well know my feelings about Democrats who don't support We The People! We have a few who aren't "Centrists". I will continue to support the likes of FDR Democrats and hope that We The People will see through the Gingrich "liberal" BS!
A letter to me from John Edwards yesterday:
MAGI,
About an hour ago, the Senate caved to President Bush and sent him another blank check to continue the war in Iraq.
This is a serious blow for all of us, but no one lost more today than the troops in the field who continue to sacrifice so nobly and their families still waiting back home.
It's a hard moment, but you and I don't have the luxury of getting discouraged. We must remember: This is not over. For those of us committed to change, it has only begun.
This weekend, thousands of us will take action in our communities to support the troops and end the war. We will speak out in public. We will send care packages to soldiers in Iraq. We will gather letters for Congress and the president. And on Memorial Day, we will remember and honor those who sacrificed everything for their nation.
Join us: http://johnedwards.com/r/15111/908441/
After tonight, one thing is now perfectly clear: No one else is going to end this war for us. Bush will not listen. Congress will not fight. There's no one left to lead the country now but we the people.
Each of us has a duty and a responsibility to our troops and to each other to do all that we can to end this war. Under the Constitution of the United States of America, we the people are the sovereign and the ultimate deciders--and by all that I know is right we will succeed in bringing our troops home.
Thank you for standing up.
--John Edwards

Don't give up on EVERYBODY! There's still some life out in the hinterland.
State Conventions Say: Dump Dick. Dump Dick, Now!
May 21 (LPAC)--On June 2, Democrats at their state convention in New Hampshire will get a chance to redeem themselves by expanding the drive to oust Dick Cheney. Last year they did part of the job by calling for George Bush to be impeached. But recent votes for impeaching both, instigated by the LaRouche Youth Movement at Democratic state conventions in California and Massachusetts, shows the direction the impeachment drive is heading.
David Swanson, the Washington director of Democrats.com and Impeachpac.com, reports on the number of state Democratic parties that have called for impeachment--and 10 of those have passed the resolutions since Nancy Pelosi declared impeachment "off the table." (Pelosi made her under the table remark right after the Republican National Committee made its clueless claim that impeachment would benefit the GOP in the November 2006 elections.)
Aside from California and Massachusetts most recently, where the LaRouche Youth Movement played a leading role, the other states whose Democratic parties have called for the impeachment of Cheney and/or Bush are: Nevada (first, in May 2004), then, Wisconsin, North Carolina, New Mexico, Vermont, Colorado, Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Washington State, and Oregon. That tallies to 14 states listed by Swanson. In addition, the Executive Committee of the Louisiana Democratic Party is known to have passed a resolution calling for Cheney's impeachment at the time of the California state convention in San Diego.
But beyond nonbinding calls for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney, the state Democratic parties need to make those calls become reality by forcing Congressional passage of Rep. Dennis Kucinich's H.R. 333, calling for the impeachment of Cheney for high crimes and misdemeanors, which so far has three co-sponsors.

If Congress were TRUELY the representatives of We,the people, then, what would that Congressional representation look like? What would this Congress be doing? Who would the political party leadership be promoting for political office in '08'? In response to public discontent and disgust, why is the LaRouche RIGHT WING being promoted through the press and NOT the LEFT as the spearhead of discontent, and for impeachment, at the state Democratic Party convention?

The Iraq War
It is demonstrated that secret societies have been behind where the state of the WHOLE world is today. Masonic membership and Masonic symbolism IS Washington D.C. Many other secret societies are representative in Washington D.C. as well.
Lyndon B. Johnson was a Freemason and was the one, according to E. Howard Hunt, who masterminded the assassination of JFK and, afterward, fomented the Viet Nam War to a full boil replete with arms and drug running NOT unlike the Iraq War and intentions for a war in Iran. Gerald Ford and Allen Dulles who were on the Warren Commission were Freemasons. Through some Freemasons, there are connections to yet other secret societies, notably The Order of Skull & Bones. There are connections too to secret society members who were/are CIA that need to be remembered, and further on, to the Illuminati - One World Government, the New World Order.(See the pictures and read the LBJ inset in particular)

Synarchism:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synarchism
Rule by secret societies
The earliest use of the word synarchy in reference to secret societies comes from the writings of Alexandre Saint-Yves d'Alveydre (1842-1909) who used the term in his book L'Archéomètre to describe what he believed was the ideal form of government. Saint-Yves, an occultist, invented the word to describe government by secret societies, a form of governance he associated with superior beings from the land of Shambhala (a. k. a. Shangri-la), who communicated with him telepathically.
American political activist Lyndon LaRouche regularly uses the term to denote rule by a secret elite, though not a supernatural one. He describes a "movement", "organization" or "phenomenon", involving, among others, Napoleon Bonaparte, Bertrand Russell, Adolf Hitler, and the British royal family. [1] He claims that during the Great Depression an international combination of financial institutions, raw materials cartels, and intelligence operatives such as John Foster Dulles, installed fascist regimes throughout Europe (and tried to do so in Mexico) to maintain order and prevent the repudiation of international debts. [2]
LaRouche identifies Dick Cheney as a latter-day "Synarchist", and claims that the "Synarchists" have "a scheme for replacing regular military forces of nations, by private armies in the footsteps of a privately financed international Waffen-SS-like scheme, a force deployed by leading financier institutions, such as the multi-billions funding by the U.S. Treasury, of Cheney's Halliburton gang." [3].
...
Synarchism in various parts of the world
The question of synarchism became an issue for U.S. Intelligence analysts during World War II. In a now declassified U.S. report dated April 22, 1942, Raleigh A. Gibson, First Secretary of the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, sent the U.S. Secretary of State an English translation of an editorial from El Popular, the newspaper of the Confederation of Mexican Workers, published on April 21, 1942. It reads in part as follows:
"The French sinarquistas rushed into furious strife against French and European democracy; those of Mexico organized to combat Mexican and continental democracy. The French sinarquistas were adopted by Abetz, the Ambassador of Hitler in France; the Mexican sinarquistas were recruited, were given a name, were educated and directed by Nazi agents in Mexico and by Falange directors who are working illegally among us. And this is so apparent, so conclusive, that it eliminates the need of concrete proofs of the organic connection between them. The fundamental proof is that sinarquism is not a unique and exclusive Mexican product, as its leaders untruthfully argue. That Sinarquism, even bearing the identical name, does exist in other parts of the world and is an international movement ...

At the link below, scroll down to see the statue of Albert Pike ... "located at 3rd and D Streets, N.W. in downtown Washington, D.C. It is administered by the National Park Service. Congress authorized the placement of a statue to Albert Pike on Federal land in Washington, D.C. on April 9, 1898, in Joint Resolution 20 (30 stat. 737). The Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, which Pike led for 32 years, sponsored and paid for the statue's erection, as recognition for his long service to the Scottish Rite. At the time of erection, the statue stood in front of the Scottish Rite House of the Temple. The enabling legislation does not refer to Pike's service in the Confederate Army."
...
"Since September, 1992, protesters have held rallies at the Pike statue contending that he was "the chief founder" of the Ku Klux Klan in Arkansas. The protesters are led and organized by and consist mainly of supporters of political figure Lyndon LaRouche. The protesters' main organizer is Anton Chaitkin who is affiliated with the Shiller Institute, a LaRouche organization. Messrs. LaRouche, Chaitkin, and their supporters contend that the Klan was founded as the terrorist arm of the Scottish Rite as part of a wide Masonic conspiracy to keep the South in Confederate hands."

There were a few of us after the midterms working hard to define Steny Hoyer (photo), Rahm Emanuel and the compromised Dems to keep them from expanding their power by claiming credit for the midterm results, which we believe happened more in spite of, rather than because of, their efforts.
We took a lot of crap for that.
A. Lot. Of. Crap.
Many people felt we were criticizing Dems gratuitously and foolishly when we should have been celebrating the victories. People were tired, worn out. They wanted a rest, an end to the intraparty fighting. Heck, we were all tired, though there were some among us who felt the post election narrative was as important a fight as the election fight. Others said, no, it's time to start governing, rewarding good behavior, giving the benefit of the doubt. There were long, passionate discussions, online and off. Nerves frayed, and then some.
Okay, it's all water under the bridge. I'm not here to say, "We told you so." I'm here to make a different point.
Here's my point: let's not oversell our victories, and let's not underestimate the strength and nature of the forces against us, even in the Democratic Party. Moreover, let's not ever convince ourselves we can take a rest, or that criticizing Democrats is inherently a problem. It's all situational, case by case, earned or unearned.
Jane made a comment last night that really sparked my interest: on the one hand, the right wing is melting down over the GOP corporatist position on immigration, cracking the coalition with the grass roots racists. On our side, we control, supposedly, both houses of congress, and yet the Blue Dogs and other corporatists (led by Steny Hoyer, abetted by a handful of Dem senators) struck a deal with the White House to capitulate on the occupation funding just as we had the greater leverage and momentum on our side.
Notice anything?
The same party is winning both fights, but it's not the Dems or the GOP.
I wrote a post right before the election that was a little more weedy than David Sirota's subsequent description of the Money Party versus the People Party. In it, I argued we actually have three parties.
http://www.firedoglake.com/2006/11/04/political-physics-2006-a-tale-of-three-parties/
I'd like to recommend people take a look at that again, because I think it holds up rather well in light of the events of this week. If we're going to be the reality based people, let's take another cold eyed, hard view at the realities we face, and who the actors are, etc.
We're collectively, in the netroots, very good at documentation. I think we need to keep doing a lot of careful documentation on all these players and forces. Most of all, no fandom or personality cults. It's all about behavior, and being as ready to call bullshit as say "good job." The moment we're taken for granted is the moment we're irrelevant.
Anyway, that's all. Hope I haven't offended anyone. Let's use this week to review a bit, refocus where necessary and sharpen our collective impact.
Oh, and lookee here: a bit of documentation. Ask yourself, if the Democratic leadership controls the legislative agenda, how does a piece of imperial occupation legislation even come to a vote if a majority of Democratic voting members (in the House, at least) later votes against it, including the Speaker of the House? What's going on here, and do those votes against the bill once the bill actually came to the floor really mean what people think they mean?

I concur with Gore Vidal, who said there is but one political party in the USofA: The Party of Property. It has two wings, the Right wing and the Very Right wing. But there is no ‘people’s party’ in the USofA; no place in which to plant one, and no room for one to grow, no oxygen to feed it, no money to support it…

Dr. John Coleman, Christian conservative from the back cover of his book, "One World Order Socialist Dictatorship:
"The enemy in Washington is more to be feared than the enemy in Moscow. Communism did not destroy the teriff protection created by George Washington (Freemason). ... Communism did not create the Federal Reserve Board. Communism did not get the United States into WW I or WW II. Communism did force the United Nations on America. ... Communism did not create the Global 2000 report mass genocide plan. ... It is SOCIALISM (I say the influence of secret societies including their bringing Hitler to power) that has brought forth these evils upon the United States.
Communism did not give the world AIDS. ... Communism did not mount unrelenting attacks on the Constitution of the United States. ... Communism did not give America a Supreme Court packed with justices bound and determined to undermine the Constitution of the United States. Communism did not send our soldiers to fight illegal wars to protect the interests of the British crown."

The 9/11 attack on America was an inside job, clearly evidenced in videos, eyewitnesses, acts and omissions and by expert analysis that refute the "official" government 9/11 Commission Report.
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy was an inside job, evidenced in videos, by eyewitnesses, acts and omissions and expert analysis that refute the "official" government Warren Commission Report.

Chief Justice Earl Warren, after whom the Warren Commission Report was named, was a Freemason and was a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan in Bakersfield, California. Justice Hugo Black, a Freemason and a member of the Ku Klux Klan in the Robert E. Lee Klan #1 in Birmingham, Alabama "September 11, 1923" - 1925 was nominated to the United States Supreme Court in 1937 by Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Freemason.

Kennedy, please scroll down the link below until you come to the video screen, then, click on the video screen arrow to start the free video.
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles.../300806jfk.htm
In a television interview, A Current Affair, the mistress of Lyndon Johnson, Madeleine Brown, described the meeting of 21st November, 1963, when she was at the home of Clint Murchison. Others at the meeting included Harold L. Hunt, J. Edgar Hoover, Clyde Tolson, John J. McCloy and Richard Nixon. At the end of the evening Lyndon B. Johnson arrived...
"Tension filled the room upon his arrival. The group immediately went behind closed doors. A short time later Lyndon, anxious and red-faced, reappeared... Squeezing my hand so hard, it felt crushed from the pressure, he spoke with a grating whisper, a quiet growl, into my ear, not a love message, but one I'll always remember: "After tomorrow those goddamn Kennedys will never embarrass me again - that's no threat - that's a promise.".
It's important to note that John J. McCloy was a member of the now discredited Warren Commission which "investigated" the assassination, appointed by none other than Johnson. Nixon himself was in Dallas on the day of the assassination.
In his book, Freemasonry in American History, the Masonic scholar, A. E.
Roberts identifies some of the Masonic participants in the investigation
of the Kennedy assaination,
"Johnson had received the Entered Apprentice Degree in Johnson City
Lodge No. 561, Texas, on October 30, 1937. Reasons for him going no
farther are unclear. Until the 1850s becoming an Entered Apprentice made a
man a full member of the lodge conferring the degree. During the 1850s all
Grand Lodges adopted laws making the Master Mason (or Third) degree the
criteria for a man to be considered a Freemason. Before then, all Masonic
business was conducted in the First Degree (and still is in some foreign
countries). With the adoption of the new law, business can be considered
only in a Master Mason Lodge.
One of Johnson's first acts was to order the Federal Bureau of
Investigation to check every aspect of the assassination. The FBI was
headed by J. EDGAR HOOVER, who had become a member of Federal Lodge No. 1,
District of Columbia, on November 9, 1920... But the public wanted more
answers concerning the murder of the President than any agency could
provide. So, on January 29, 1963, Johnson issued an executive order
creating a special commission. It would take the name of the man chosen to
head it, Chief Justice EARL WARREN.
Warren, a Past Grand Master of Masons in California, was joined on
the Commission by two other known Freemasons. They were Senator RICHARD B.
RUSSELL, a member of Winder Lodge No. 33, Georgia, and Representative
GERALD R. FORD of Michigan. John Sherman Cooper, Hale Boggs, Allen W.
Dulles, and John J. McCloy made up the balance of the Commission." (pg 379)
It is difficult to reliably determine if other members of the Warren
Commission were also Freemasons, because no published records of
membership exist. Even Mr. A. E. Roberts, who should have excellent
access to masonic sources of information, qualifies his list of Masonic
participants on the Warren Commision to describe 'known Freemasons'.

President John F. Kennedy - A Warning:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw_QuYYGLj8&mode=related&search=
http://www.threeworldwars.com/albert-pike.htm
"...
An Italian revolutionary leader, Giusseppe Mazzini (1805-1872), a 33rd degree Mason, was selected by the Illuminati to head their worldwide operations in 1834. (Mazzini also founded the Mafia in 1860). Because of Mazzini's revolutionary activities in Europe, the Bavarian government cracked down on the Illuminati and other secret societies for allegedly plotting a massive overthrow of Europe's monarchies. As the secrets of the Illuminati were revealed, they were persecuted and eventually disbanded, only to re-establish themselves in the depths of other organizations, of which Freemasonry was one.
During his leadership, Mazzini enticed Albert Pike into the (now formally disbanded, but still operating) Illuminati. Pike was fascinated by the idea of a one world government, and when asked by Mazzini, readily agreed to write a ritual tome that guided the transition from average high-ranking mason into a top-ranking Illuminati mason (33rd degree). Since Mazzini also wanted Pike to head the Illuminati's American chapter, he clearly felt Pike was worthy of such a task. Mazzini's intention was that once a mason had made his way up the Freemason ladder and proven himself worthy, the highest ranking members would offer membership to the secret 'society within a society'.
It is for this reason that most Freemasons vehemently deny the evil intentions of their fraternity. Since the vast majority never reach the 30th degree, they would not be aware of the real purpose behind Masonry. When instructing Pike how the tome should be developed, Mazzini wrote the following to Pike in a letter dated January 22, 1870. Remember that Freemasonry wasn't started by Pike - rather it was infiltrated by the Illuminati who were looking for a respectable forum in which to hide their clandestine activities:
"We must allow all the federations to continue just as they are, with their systems, their central authorities and their diverse modes of correspondence between high grades of the same rite, organized as they are at the present, but we must create a super rite, which will remain unknown, to which we will call those Masons of high degree whom we shall select. With regard to our brothers in Masonry, these men must be pledges to the strictest secrecy. Through this supreme rite, we will govern all Freemasonry which will become the one international center, the more powerful because its direction will be unknown." 1
..."

Dems Hire George Orwell to Run Their Iraq PR Shop
By David Sirota
http://www.workingassetsblog.com/2007/05/democrats_hire_george_orwell_t.html
The only difference between the Democratic Party's behavior right now and an Orwell novel is that the state-run propaganda in the latter is just a wee bit more convincing. Memo to Democratic politicians and their new political consultant, George Orwell: You aren't fooling anyone. We all know what happened. The more you pretend that you heroically did everything you could to stop the war the more pathetic you look, and the more you insult the 82 percent of the country that polls show wanted you to condition Iraq funding with binding conditions to end the war.

Below is illustrated where the "occult" in secret societies in government comes in:
http://www.iahushua.com/WOI/skullbone2.html
"So, why would an intelligence agency/secret society want to smuggle drugs and assassinate JFK?
Well, they make a lot of money, they garner intelligence assets with their participation. And there is the rationale, that, the world is a seamy and unseemly place and if your going to be the "big boy" on the block, you better know, what's going on. And what better way of knowing, than by running it yourself. Also there are some, who say, it fits into their plans to de-stabilize American families and society. Through demoralizing and fracturing the body politic, they, can impose their will using psychological warfare and the Hegellian dialectic process.
James Shelby Downard's, article Sorcery, Sex, Assassination and the Science of Symbolism , an underground classic, links American historical events with a wild, numerological, grand occult plan "to turn us into cybernetic mystery zombies". That, the assassination of JFK, was the performance of a public occult ritual (The Killing of the King), designed as a mass-trauma, mind-control assault against our US national body-politic.
In operations, - Sunrise, Blowback and Paperclip and others , thousands of German scientists, researchers and administrators were brought to the United States after World War II. Many were "smuggled" into the country against direct, written, orders from President Harry S. Truman.
Project Monarch, was the resumption of a mind-control project, started in Nazi Germany, called Marionette Programming. "The basic component of the Monarch Program is the sophisticated manipulation of the mind, to protect itself from extreme trauma by creating Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD)."
Mr. Downward, feels that the, perpetrators, purposefully, murdered JFK, in such a way as, to affect our National identity and cohesiveness. To fracture America's soul. Even the blatancy of their conspiracy was designed to show "their superiority" and "our futility".
There have been studies that show a correlation between the JFK assassination and to rise in violence in society, distrust of government and other extensions of social ills.
Why this attack against our body politic?
A bolt of lightning struck a courier, in 1785, en route from Frankfort-on-the-Main to Paris. Adam Weishopf's tract, ORIGINAL SHIFT IN DAYS OF ILLUMINATIONS, recovered from the dead messenger, contained the secret society's long-range plan for "The New World Order through world revolution".
The Bavarian Government outlawed the society and, in 1787, published the details of The Illuminati conspiracy in: THE ORIGINAL WRITINGS OF THE ORDER AND SECT OF THE ILLUMINATI.
In Adam Weishaupt's own words:
"By this plan, we shall direct all mankind in this manner. And, by the simplest means, we shall set all in motion and in flames. The occupations must be so allotted and contrived that we may, in secret, influence all political transactions."
There is disagreement among scholars as to whether or not the Illuminati survived its banishment. Nevertheless, the group had been quite successful in attracting members and had allied itself with the extensive Masonic networks.
The Illuminati was, publicly, founded May 1, 1776 at the University of Ingolstadt by Professor of Canon Law, Adam Weishaupt. It was a very "learned" society, the "earliest members of Weishaupt's new order were drawn from among his students."
On December 5, 1776, students at William and Mary College founded a secret society, Phi Beta Kappa. A second chapter was formed, at Yale, in 1780. The anti-Masonic movement of the 1820s held groups, such as, Phi Beta Kappa, in a bad light. Because of pressure, the society, went public and this ". . . was the direct cause of the appearance of Yale's senior society, Skull & Bones".
In The Cyclopedia Of Fraternities, a Genealogical Chart of General, Greek-Letter, College Fraternities In The United States, shows, Phi Beta Kappa, as "the parent of all the fraternal systems in [American] higher education. There is only one "side" lineal descendant, that, is to Yale in 1780. Then a continuous line to Skull and Bones in 1832 and on through the other "only at Yale" senior societies, Scroll & Key and Wolf's Head.
Phi Beta Kappa, is the "first three Greek letters, for 'Philosophia Biou Kubernetes' or 'Love of wisdom, the helmsman of life'. A skull homophone is scull, a quick, gliding boat and part of Skull & Bones first nomenclature.
John Robinson, a professor of natural philosophy, at Edinburgh University in Scotland, and a member of a Freemason Lodge, says, he was asked to join the Illuminati. . After study, he concluded the purposes of the Illuminati were not for him.
In 1798, he published a book called Proofs Of A Conspiracy :
"An association has been formed for the express purpose of rooting out all the religious establishments and overturning all the existing governments. . . . the leaders would rule the World with uncontrollable power, while all the rest would be employed as tools of the ambition of their unknown superiors."

"Proofs of A Conspiracy , was sent to George Washington. In a letter, responding to the sender of the book, the president, said, he was aware the Illuminati were in America; he felt that Illuminati had "diabolical tenets" and that their object was "a separation of the People from their government."
In Proofs Of A Conspiracy , Robinson, printed the ceremony of initiation of the "Regent degree" in Illuminism, in it "a skeleton is pointed out to him [the initiate], at the feet of which are laid a crown and a sword. He is asked 'whether that is the skeleton of a king, nobleman or a beggar.' As he cannot decide, the president of the meeting says to him, 'The character of being a man is the only one that is (of) importance'".
This is, essentially, the same as the writing in the "tomb",
"Wer war der Thor, wer Weiser, Bettler oder Kaiser?
Ob Arm, ob Reich, im Tode gleich,"
this reads,
"Who was the fool, who the wise man, beggar or king? Whether poor or rich, all's the same in death."
Is the Order of the Skull & Bones part of the Illuminati?
When a person is initiated into Skull & Bones, they are given a new name, similar to the practice of the Illuminati. And many recorded Illuminati members can be shown to have contact and/or strong influences with many of the professors that taught "Bonesmen" in Berlin.
Now, when a secret society conspires against the sovereignty of a king, they need to organize, raise funds, bring their plans operational and hopefully fruition.
Could we have in the U. S., a secret society, that has used the "National Security State" as a cover for their nefarious plans?"

"From George Bush; The Unauthorized Biography :
"That September ['51], Robert Lovett replaced Marshall as secretary of defense. Meanwhile, Harriman was named director of the Mutual Security Agency, making him the U.S. chief of the Anglo-American military alliance. By now, Brown Brothers Harriman was everything but commander-in-chief.
A central focus of the Harriman security regime in Washington (1950-53) was the organization of covert operations, and "psychological warfare." Harriman, together with his lawyers and business partners, Allen and John Foster Dulles, wanted the government's secret services to conduct extensive propaganda campaigns and mass-psychology experiments within the U.S.A., and paramilitary campaigns abroad. . . .
The Harriman security regime created the Psychological Strategy Board (PSB) in 1951. The man appointed director of the PSB, Gordon Gray . . . Gordon's brother, R.J. Reynolds chairman Bowman Gray Jr., was also a naval intelligence officer, known around Washington as the "founder of operational intelligence." Gordon Gray became a close friend and political ally of Prescott Bush; and Gray's son became for Prescott's son, George, his lawyer and the shield of his covert policy."
So you have the Whitney/Stimson/Bundy clan and the Harriman/Bush boys having a great impact on American and world political, economical and social affairs and then you have Prescott Bush's, buddy, Nixon as an activist vice-president. Then, a nation-chilling assassination, some time under LBJ, (with the Bundy boys keeping things in line), then Nixon as President(with "Bonesmen aides Ray Price('??) and Richard A. Moore. Some time out for a Trilateralist-Democrat-patsy-President and then Prescott's boy, as an activist vice-president under Reagan. Next, we get a Skull & Bones, president, who declares a "New World Order", while beating-up "on" his business partner, Sadaam Hussein.
After twelve years of Republicans, Bush, passes on the "game" to his drug smuggling buddy from Arkansas, Bill Clinton, who studied Yale Law School. And, some say, Bill is a CIA "operative", recruited by Cord Meyer, Jr, when Bill was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford. Could this be the "old Hegallian historical dialectic process"?
What do you think plan or accident?
Pamela Churchill Harriman, Averil's wife, is one of Democrat's biggest fund-raiser's and gave Bill a job as director of her "PAM PAC" when he was defeated for governor in 1980. Bill made her Ambassador to France.
Another Harriman/Bush friend is, Eugene Stetson('34), he was an assistant manager for Prescott Bush at Brown Brothers, Harriman's New York office. He organized the H. Smith Richardson Foundation. The foundation, in the late 1950s, participated in the "domestic-covert" "psychological warfare" CIA "MK-Ultra" operation. The Richardson Foundation helped to finance the testing of "psychotropic drugs including LSD" at Massachusetts, Bridgewater Hospital , "the center of some of the most brutal MK-Ultra tortures."
During the Iran-Contra operations, the H. Smith Richardson Foundation was a "private donors steering committee", working with the National Security Council to co-ordinate the office of "Public Diplomacy". This was an effort "to propagandize in favor of and run cover for the Iran-Contra operations, and to coordinate published attacks on opponents of the program."
The H. Smith Richardson Foundation, also runs the "Center for Creative Leadership", at Langley to "train leaders of the CIA" and another near Greensboro, North Carolina, that trains CIA, Secret Service Agents and "virtually everyone who becomes a general" gets this 'training'".
And, all, this is just the tip of an iceberg, you have eugenics and population "control", suppressed history and technology, yearly retreats, profitable partnerships with many dictators, deals with "terroists", the Knights of Malta, war-mongering and profiteering, more mind-control, secret societies for teens, ritual magic and more.
There is a whole new crop of " Bonesmen" . Including, George's son George W. Bush('68), Governor of Texas.
The secrecy,.intimidation and lack of information is amazing!
When Don Schollander('68), the Olympic gold-medalist and "only known Skull and Bones member living in Portland", was contacted by Willamette Week reporter, John Schrang.
He said, "It's really something I can't talk about." Not wouldn't, but "couldn't". Hmm. . . .
After, Antony Sutton's first ground-breaking exposes, the Sterling Library at Yale "has refused to allow further researchers access to the Russell Trust papers".
Daniel Gilman, like most "Bonesmen", has no mention of Skull & Bones or the Russell Trust in his memoirs or biographies.
So, are we 'fodder" for a secret society, with satanic overtones, trying to form a one world government, with "them" in charge; or are they "just a bunch of 'frat' boys from Yale?"

The more things change …
I spent 33 years in the Marines. Most of my time being a high-class muscle man for Big business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer for capitalism. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenue in. I helped in the rape of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street…

Snip
To wit: certain responses to Boston University professor and anti-war activist Andrew J. Bacevich’s heartrending article today in the Washington Post. A few weeks ago his 27 year old son was killed in Iraq. Bacevich writes that he has been pondering the responsibility that he — and, by extension, each of us as Americans — might bear for his son’s death. He could not stop this absurd nightmare of a war by speaking out; nobody could. Mustn’t there be something deeply wrong with our entire national system if it permits this catastrophe to continue even now, when everyone knows the American people wish it to end?
The people have spoken, and nothing of substance has changed. The November 2006 midterm elections signified an unambiguous repudiation of the policies that landed us in our present predicament. But half a year later, the war continues, with no end in sight. Indeed, by sending more troops to Iraq (and by extending the tours of those, like my son, who were already there), Bush has signaled his complete disregard for what was once quaintly referred to as "the will of the people."
To be fair, responsibility for the war’s continuation now rests no less with the Democrats who control Congress than with the president and his party. After my son’s death, my state’s senators, Edward M. Kennedy and John F. Kerry, telephoned to express their condolences. Stephen F. Lynch, our congressman, attended my son’s wake. Kerry was present for the funeral Mass. My family and I greatly appreciated such gestures. But when I suggested to each of them the necessity of ending the war, I got the brushoff. More accurately, after ever so briefly pretending to listen, each treated me to a convoluted explanation that said in essence: Don’t blame me.
Bacevich says the devil in the machine is money: "To whom do Kennedy, Kerry and Lynch listen? We know the answer: to the same people who have the ear of George W. Bush and Karl Rove — namely, wealthy individuals and institutions. Money buys access and influence. Money greases the process that will yield us a new president in 2008. When it comes to Iraq, money ensures that the concerns of big business, big oil, bellicose evangelicals and Middle East allies gain a hearing. By comparison, the lives of U.S. soldiers figure as an afterthought."
I myself agree with Jim Henley that "money" alone is too simple an answer, but it’s not like Bacevich is totally off base. "Money" doesn’t explain everything, only 90 percent of it… also factoring into the equation would be imperialist ambitions, a horribly misplaced trust in authority, a stupefying lack of integrity or professionalism, and then just plain foolishness. And that’s just describing the media! When you try to figure out exactly what the hell the Bushites were thinking you’d have to throw in ideological arrogance and delusions of competence. As for, say, Kerry, and the Democratic party… well, I’d diagnose an inordinate regard for the opinions of a corrupt punditry and a reliance on a discredited and discreditable class of consultants and pollsters. And, of course, money.
But at the core of Bacevich’s article is a wrenching call for self-examination, for an unflinching analysis of the system to which we as a people owe allegiance but yet, strangely enough, do not seem to own. That his piece is occasioned by the death of his child makes this call to reflection almost unbearably moving:
I know that my son did his best to serve our country. Through my own opposition to a profoundly misguided war, I thought I was doing the same. In fact, while he was giving his all, I was doing nothing. In this way, I failed him.
And… Enter Wingnuttia, in the person of Jules Crittenden, whose confusion is as usual comparable only to his mendacity. According to Crittenden, Bacevich
moves from bad ideas about the war to conspiracy theories and rejection of the value of the sacrifice of American soldiers, in fact reducing it to a dollar figure. He ends with the unusual statement that he didn’t do enough against this war. Given that he has been a significant and thoughtful, if wrong, voice against this war who happens to be on the losing end of a political process that thus far has worked as it was designed to, I’m not sure what he means. Insurrection?
Oh, I think I can explain what he means.
The "political process" has been corrupted, is precisely Bacevich’s point. The system does not work. It is not responsive to the best interests of the people. What Crittenden does not and probably cannot understand is that Bacevich believes that his son’s sacrifice was in vain: that he did not die in the name of the American people, but in the name of powerful interests who have misled the nation — in every sense of the word "misled." He does not doubt his son’s nobility or integrity. But he thinks his son was betrayed.
As, indeed, he was. Because Bacevich is not wrong about the war. And that stands to our shame as a people. What have we done? And, almost as badly, what haven’t we done that we should have? What are we to do with all this blood on our hands?
Happy Memorial Day.
