After seeing the movie Outsourced (trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LImhTTFu4b8)) again this weekend it made me realize I'm not interested in the political effects of outsourcing as much as I am the cultural and personal effects. It's just such a new phenomenon, I mean, trade to the extreme of sourcing from different countries. I think about how my purchases drive the market not only in determining what products are supplied to me cheaply, but what products will be supplied to the countries that those products are made in cheaply. Like you hear stories of tons of staples being available for super cheap in China, but all the staples are made in another country so they are really expensive...
