to serve as the unnecessary centerpeice at the dinner table.
On a related note, when I picked my mother up today I had to veer my car away to avoid running over the fresh carcass of a beautiful tabby cat in the road. After I dropped her off I drove back to clean it up because I knew no one else would and that I could spare many other families the grizzly sight on this holiday. When I got back a teary eyed women with her little girl in the van was standing over the animal. She said she thought it might be her cat. Thankfully, when she called home her husband said their cat was at the house.
When I scooped the cat up some guts fell out and I wondered if the women was going home to gut her turkey and fill it with bread crumbs. Just a thought...
