I am surprised that this hugely popular film with a strong - very strong for a major release aimed at families - environmental/anti-corporate message has not been mentioned here yet.
My wife and I loved this film: 4 and 1/2 stars out of 5.

Hi Steve,
I saw Wall-e and was amazed by the animation, the clever use of emotional images instead of words to tell almost all the story and of course the simple message of love; love ultimately saves the world from corporate annihilation.
If you're interested in powerful messages in movies ... watch Zeitgeist. HoLY MoLY!!! It'll knock your socks off! (not for little kids)

I've been meaning to see it. I had no idea there would be a progressive message in Wall-e. Now I'm even more curious about it. I often find myself liking the animated movies better than a lot of the live action ones anyway.
Have you seen any of Miyazaki's films?
