Naomi Klein and Avi Lewis produced this documentary about Argentine factory workers who decide to occupy and continue production in their factory after the owner abandons it. Rather than simply explaining the situation from a distance, the film provides viewers with a close-up look at the lives of the workers in their struggle with the factory owners and the workings of the government. The personalized accounts coupled with the great soundtrack make it all the more moving and real. It's hard to watch this movie and not sympathize with these individuals and their efforts to set up a democratic, worker-owned co-op.
