Just want to know if any of you noticed the stunt that cnn pulled? Oh wait, I forgot, the libs don't want to hear about anything that runs againt the gain in there socialist agenda. Well, here it is anyway. Cheny was giving a speech and as it was being broadcast, a producer at cnn put a giant x over him. When complaints were called in to that producer, she told them that if they didn't like it, don't watch! Thankfully, she was fired. Maybe she could get together with Rather and make up all kinds of stories... Ha Ha Ha!

Or, they could get a job on Fox and not worry about journalistic integrity at all!

It's terrific to hear that someone stood up to the corrupt powers that be but it is a shame that the producer outed herself in such an unprofessional manner given that we really could have used someone with guts behind the scenes at CNN (the Conservative News Network).

And by "conservative" I mean CNN is so careful about playing the middle that they forget their responsiblity to the public to report the truth even if it means exposing this administration and the Republicans as the pigs they are and losing some viewers in the process.

That producer didn't need a giant X to expose Cheney. She just needed to do her job and report the truth about that rat bastard.

And, by the way, the Dan Rather story was neither innapropriate or innacurate. It was long overdue. The only mistake they made was not mentioning that they could not validate the source of a document that was not needed anyway to make the case about Bush covering up his service record.

Let's not forget that ALL the network news channels reported on the Kerry "Swiftboat" bullshit without validation.

There are a lot of partisan hacks in journalism right now. But Dan Rather was nothing but an honest journalist and a class act whose reporting was consistantly biased to what was right not "left".

The producer is a better person than I am, I would have put "the bird" over Mr Cheney's face. I beleive the "X" was doing the ugly bastard a favor :p
