Two friends bust loose from the confines of tradition, conformity and male domination, and as representitives of "the weaker sex", turn a corner from which there is no turning back.
I particularly appreciated the scene after they blow up the oil truck of the tongue flipping "good-old-boy". When one of them scoops up his baseball cap with the USA flag on it and puts it on her head the unspoken message is, "I'm what America is all about, not you, you pig-bastard!"
