I saw it. A lot of folks think the republican Schlessinger (?) won. I disagree. But Ned could have come out swinging harder. Anyway, the Repub. is only polling at 4%.

(More good news: I think Admiral Joe Sestak just became Congressman Joe Sestak. He's one of my favorite candidates this cycle. Curt Weldon is his opponent, and the FBI raided his daughter's house as part of an influence peddling probe.)

Magi, hows the word on the ground? The SF Chronicle had a big story in the Sunday edition about the CN race about how Lieberman has a very wide lead over Lamont! :puke:

Say it aint so!!

As the hecklers sang, "Lieberman don't protect Cheney. Cheney is a fat-ass nazi. Don't protect nazis!"

FDRfollower,
There's not been a recent poll, it's been about 1 1/2 weeks, and that was skewed. It had Lieberman up 17%. After some investigation, was about 10% up for Lieberman.

Nothing after the 3rd debate to my knowledge.

I asked my Sis this AM how things seem to stand in CT. with Ned Lamont. She seems to think there is problems with seniors! ????????????? This senior followed Lieberman and CALLED him, as his constituent, and knows full well his stance with supporting CORPORATE GOV'T, the Government Of Prostitutes, and NOT "We The People"!

Sis was in the company of some selfish comfortable people last evening who are retired with benefits, and stock investments and no children or Grandchilren when this subject came up. Ned's campaign is running a commercial right now concerning seniors, maybe it will open a few eyes?

Also General Wesley Clark(e) came out with a
commercial supporting Lamont. The NYT came out for Lamont for G'sS!.....Where is Big Dog? Hillary? Schumer? We need that SUPPORT!

If Lieberman shows his true colors after the election, we will have ONLY 1 Democratic Senator in CT. Also if bush gives him a job, such as Sec. of Defense, and our Governor (also up in the air) has the pick........, the # of Dems in the Senate is at stake!

Ned Lamont is OUR COUNTRY'S best hope for a change in U.S. government and do we ever NEED HIM! (I know you know that, FDR, just in case anyone else reads this, though!)

A moral, courageous, business savy, honorable, decent man and millionaire (yes) who cares about "The People"!

Progressive Firedoglake keeps me well informed. Many are headed to CT. in support of Ned Lamont!
CT.s ONLY Democrat running for the U.S. Senate!

Just went to Lamont's site. It's looking better!

Polls...
There are rumors on the internets about a new Rasmussen poll:

Lieberman (Lieberman) 48% (50)
Lamont (Dem.) 40% (40)
Schlesinger (Rep.) 9% (6)

Joe is under 50% for the first time in some time, Ned’s support remains firm, and Schlessinger gains on the backs of principled conservatives.

As an aside, it’s nice to see external poll after the q-poll ridiculousness. Both the timing and methodology of that effort were questionable at best. The absence of another effort post-debates (while infering the previous poll took them into account) was dissapointing.

Also, possible 4th debate. Last I read "Joe" won't participate!
