Young 2006 Society of Professional Journalists award winning journalist Josh Wolf sits imprisoned in a northern California, Dublin jail for refusing to release his unedited video of a G-8 conference protest in San Francisco to a Federal Grand Jury. "Wolf has repeatedly stated under oath that his video does not contain footage of the crimes being investigated by the Grand Jury. To make his case, Wolf has offered to let the judge review his tape."

Josh's case among others points to the need for a Federal shield law to protect We, the people's right to know as well as right to privacy in this particular case!

I thought we already had that on the constitution. If the so-called authorities choose to disregard the law in the books, then there's not much that can be done by adding more laws to the books.
